Happy Birthday Jackie, and etc.

haven't write for a month.

=

some friends and i went to a shooting range not too long ago.
it was okay.
at least now i know how to fire a pistol.
hmm the most lousy .22 pistol but can kill nonetheless.

i did okay!
kept hitting under the belt though.
it's probably because of my height, that trainer said.

i still have almost a full box of bullets beside me.
i don't have a gun to fire them with, so don't worry.

-

then it was jackie+vinnie's birthday celebration.
we went to a go-cart place
too bad it's just time-attack and not racing among friends.
but it's pretty fun.
my first lap was pathetic. like more than 100seconds pathetic.
but then of course everyone kept going faster.
final lap was 65 seconds or something, which is still slow compared to the day's record of 48 seconds.
i thought i went pretty fast already, but didn't even break 1 minute. oh well.

after that we went dinner.

everyone who ordered an entree gets 1/5 of a pie.
our party ended up with 4 whole pies.
there're still some left-overs in jackie's fridge i think.
anyway, a photo of the birthday girl and me.

a photo of the birthday boy and me.
he's the tall one pointing down at me.

vinnie the scavenger .
as everyone was around the pies,
he ransacked the tables for left-overs.
heh heh.

-

the party is over and jackie and i thought we should celebrate her birthday with just the 2 of us.
so we went to monterey bay which is further down south, around 2 hours drive from SF.
the motel we booked was really nice for the price. free breakfast also which wasn't bad.
good find.

went to whole foods for dinner that night.
i would love whole foods if not for their price.
i also think that a lot of whole foods customers are snobby people who thinks they're healthier than everyone else.
ok maybe just a few of them.
just my perception.
the food sold in whole foods isn't that tasty anyway, although it's probably healthier than some other places'.
i've already sacrifice taste for health, i'm not gonna sacrifice money in addition.
i'll stick with $3 for 2 BK burgers hmmm nice.

(tiny part of) western coastline of the US.
i drove via highway 1 since the scenary is better.
a lot of cliffs and shores and etc.

monterey bay fisherman's wharf.
it's like a mini version of SF fisherman's wharf. kinda.
i was wearing a free t-shirt i got online and i didn't want to advertise for them.
hence the retarded gesture.

oh well.
they did send me a free t-shirt.
i'll do it this once.

on our way back to SF from monterey we passed by Santa Cruz,
so we decided to pay the very mysterious MYSTERY SPOT a visit.

Mysterious entrance.

the path from the toilets was also very mysterious.

why is it so mysterious?
because of some kind of strange gravitational thing going on there.
i don't really know how to decribe it.
it's like a ball will roll up a slope instead of down.
and other weird stuff.
just go to a search engine and type in "mystery spot" k.

so here.
same platform with people of various height on it in an order and then the reversed.
the heights varied differently.

after that we to santa cruz boardwalk and ate hotdogs and played arcade.
fun.
then i drove back to SF for an hour.
not so fun.
