but i was too lazy to go to the kitchen to get some real food.
So i ate dried apricots on my desk instead.
I was quite hungry so i ate at least 20 of them.
Next thing i know i had a tummyache.
So i went to the toilet where i had a massive crap.
it was truly massive,
and it even had an orangy hue to it.
then i realized 20+ dried apricots sum up to about 60% of your DV of dietary fiber.
oooohhh yeeahh.
-
with that aside,
hello everybody!
recently i also ate chocolate.
it's so sick.
so my friends roxie and lap were shopping at some place when they saw under 'snack' section a "97% choco" chocolate bar.
they probably know the potiental danger it carried but since it's under 'snack' i guess they decided to give it a try.
turned out that the bar of chocolate had to become a punishment for games.
so after terrence's birthday dinner we played chocolate-eating-games instead of drinking-games.
it tasted so bad.
it's like a concentrated chinese herbal medicine in paste form as it melts in your mouth and it sticks there on your tongue.
i rather binge drink and have a hangover.
well a slight hangover.
*i came back here from next mm chapter to give CITIZEN THAI (terrence birthday dinner place) a score sheet thing.
atmosphere - 3.5/5
food - 3/5
price - 2/5
service - 4.5/5
just for fun. wouldn't go back anyway.
-
just had the -one year anniversary- with jackie.
yup. it's been a year already. longest yet!
god knows how long i've been here in the states (4 years 5+ months).
anyway.
i'll save you viewers from mushyiloveyouyoumeanalottomeiloveeverysecondwespenttogetherweshalldietogether stuff that i didn't really say and i'll talk about the dining experience instead.
man i'm a sucky boyfriend.
and i even know jackie's reading this.
ANZU was the fancy chic business class high class royal presidental uber richperson upscale restaurant that we went to.
all thanks to RESTAURANT DOT COM i had a -$25 coupon for $5!
ha ha!
but it's still mega expensive.
the food is good, but not great, hence disappointing.
the portion was also terribly small.
the atmosphere there is great though. but that's something to be expected.
so i guess i'll make a little score.
atmosphere - 5/5
food - 3.5/5
price - 1.5/5
service - 5/5
there're better places to go dine for special occasions.
but i'm not sure where yet.
-
then!
i went to portland, OR for a weekend since jackie was there working for a while.
one great thing about Oregon, no sales tax.
NO SALES TAX.>.
INCLUDING FOOD!
and here californians are paying 8+% for everything we buy.
INCLUDING FOOD!
i almost did a little dance when i got the bill for dinner at portland.
not that a few dollars of tax mattered.
but it's like.. i defeated and won something.
hence no sales tax for me.
fuck yeah.
it's like IN YOUR FACE California! i spent a weekend in oregon and didn't pay you fucking sales tax for that weekend!
A HAH
ok.
some pics so you guys will comment.

ah.
a Saturday market thing.
i LOVE the merchantise sold there.
most of them are home-made stuff.
like stencil tees, home-made soaps, duct tape wallets, wood crafts etc.
i like it. a lot. and i seldom like things a lot.

Columbia River.
it's nice. if you look closely you'll see a dome structure thing in the forest near the right.

this is that dome structure thing.

Multnomah Falls.
not totally majestic,
but not bad either.

if you have excellent eyes, you can actually see a very faint Mount Hood in the background you know.

OMSI. it's like a science center thing. a nice science center with interesting stuff.

there are many bridges in portland,
and this is one of them.
